Mint-Green Paws, Caught in the Light
This pair of fluorite earrings holds pale mint-green colour in irregular, angular centres. Cloudy patches soften their partly translucent appearance, while fine lines cross the uneven faces. Around them, smooth, curved prongs catch bright highlights—a gold-coloured contrast to the softer green within.
Fluorite has a connection to the language of light, too. In 1852, the word fluorescence was coined from fluorspar, another name for fluorite—a small discovery that adds another layer of interest to these charms. Their playful character brings to mind tiny woodland paws guarding green treasures beneath a leafy canopy.
