Sodalite – Little Heart

Sodalite’s Little Heart, Full of Blue

Deep blue gives this little sodalite heart its rich character, broken by lighter blue mottling and wandering white streaks. Rounded upper lobes meet at a shallow notch, then taper towards a pointed tip. Across the smooth, glossy face, fine irregular markings offer quieter details beneath the bright white reflection.

The pale streaks suggest little lanterns drifting through a blue evening, with the bright reflection becoming their gathered glow. A narrow tan-coloured streak brings a different note to the scene: a warm thread through all that blue.
