Green with a surprise of deep pink
Green and deep pink-purple make a striking pair in this Ruby with Zoisite. Pale patches meet darker green, with black mottled markings bringing definition to the pattern. Its smooth rounded shape holds those contrasting colours together, and glossy highlights add brightness across the surface.
The pink is a lovely surprise within the green. A small patch changes the whole balance, like a blossom glimpsed among darker leaves. That is an imagined association to enjoy, or you can simply let the colours speak for themselves. It is an engaging stone for someone who likes a little unexpected warmth within an earthy palette.
