This rose quartz bracelet traces an oval in smooth, rounded beads, their glossy surfaces catching bright points of light. A cloudy softness mingles with the shine, giving the pale pink a hazy, almost lantern-lit quality.

Rose quartz beads dating to around 7000 BCE have been recorded in ancient Mesopotamia. There is something touching in that shared bead form: such a simple shape can hold both the softness of a colour and a very old story.
