Two Little Worlds of Light

This pair of open crystal geodes reveals a pale, intricate landscape. White and light grey dominate the cavities, while cream-beige areas add a warmer touch. Bright highlights catch the interior facets, giving the closely packed angular points a lively, sparkling rhythm.

Rough, uneven outer edges frame that brightness. The rounded outlines are irregular rather than smooth, and the grey-beige rims contrast with the densely faceted interiors. Shaded areas give the pale palette a softer presence.

It is easy to picture an imaginary landscape of glass here: jagged little peaks gathered around an open hollow, with light resting on their edges. The rough rim becomes the border of that miniature world, enclosing all those sharp glimmers.
