Chalcedony – XS

Chalcedony in Soft Blue and Lavender

Pale blue and lavender-grey give this chalcedony a gentle, varied character. Whitish streaks and bands cross the pieces, while beige and brown patches bring warmer notes to some of them. Each surface has its own arrangement of colour, from fine streaks to broader bands and mottled patches.

Smooth, glossy surfaces catch bright highlights. Rounded edges soften the changing outlines—oval, oblong, rounded triangular and irregular—giving these pebble-like forms a pleasing contrast with the lines running through their colours.

The pale bands might suggest ribbons of cloud across an imagined blue sky. But the warmer patches add something less expected to that airy scene: a small brown accent breaking through the lavender-grey.
