Ametrine, Violet with a Glint of Amber
Violet leads the way in this Ametrine, with purple giving way to amber-brown and nearly colourless areas on several of the stones. Bright white reflections catch on the curved, glossy surfaces, while translucent patches make the colour seem lighter and more open. Clear-looking areas sit alongside soft cloudiness, offering something different with each closer look.
The pebble-like forms have their own easy rhythm: some oval, some elongated, others rounded into gentle triangles. Fine visible lines lend detail to surfaces that look smooth at first glance. In an imagined landscape, these could be little pools of violet glass, touched here and there with amber.
