Lavender Light in an Amethyst Pendulum
Soft lavender gives way to nearly colourless areas in this amethyst pendulum, letting light pass through its elongated, faceted body. Bright highlights trace the smooth, glossy faces and edges, while irregular pale lines, cloudy patches and small specks reveal a more intricate world within. Its broad upper end narrows to a slightly rounded point.
Amethyst takes its name from the Greek amethystos, reflecting an old belief about sobriety. That history adds a gentle symbolic thread to the pendulum: an association with clarity alongside colour that seems to hover between lavender and transparency.
The inner markings suggest a tiny landscape, with pale paths winding through lavender mist. There is a lovely contrast between the crisp reflections outside and the soft clouds within, all gathered into that slender, softly rounded tip.
