Agate’s Warm Colours and Wandering Edges

Pink and reddish-orange bring warmth to this agate’s broad face, while white, grey-blue and tan-brown give the colours room to shift. Fine bands lend some areas a smooth-looking delicacy, set against coarse, pitted patches that make the surface feel visually rich.

Pale highlights catch the smoother areas. Its outline is roughly rounded, but far from a perfect circle: lobed edges give the chunky shape a gentle, uneven rhythm.

These contrasts suggest a small imagined landscape, with pale paths crossing warm-coloured ground and pockets of blue-grey shade.
