Serpentinite XXL – Green Between the Ridges
Grey-green and olive mingle with pale yellow across this raw Serpentinite, interrupted by cream-white patches and scattered dark brown to black marks. Bright highlights pick out parts of the uneven surface, while recessed areas fall into shadow. There is no single smooth sweep of colour here: each ridge, crease and overlapping, flake-like feature gives the eye another small change to follow.
Its roughly triangular outline narrows towards the top and opens into a broader lower portion, with uneven edges keeping the shape unruly. In an imagined landscape, those layers could become a meadow glimpsed in fragments: pale clearings, olive slopes and dark little hollows. A tiny path might wind between the folds, then vanish behind an uneven edge.
