Rutile Quartz, Light Between the Lines
Rutile quartz pocket stones range from colourless clarity and cloudy white to pale yellow and light brown. Their smooth, glossy surfaces catch bright white reflections, while brown streaks and small darker specks give several pieces their own distinctive accents. Softly irregular outlines lean towards ovals and rounded triangles, lending these pebble-like forms a gentle, uneven rhythm.
Fine, line-like markings are visible in some pieces, inviting a closer look through the transparent and translucent areas. In an imagined meadow, those lines might become slender stems glimpsed through mist, with pale yellow bringing a little warmth to the scene. The smallest marks become the beginnings of a landscape, never quite resolving into one.
