Rubellite’s Little Cove of Colour
Pink has more than one voice in this rubellite bracelet. Pale pink gives way to vivid magenta, while scattered cream-coloured, yellowish and darker patches lend each bead a mottled character. The small, rounded beads trace a single oval loop, their faceted surfaces adding little angles to the soft outline. Bright white highlights stand out sharply against this varied palette.
The oval suggests a tiny, imagined cove, with pink shores and white points of light like stars above the water. What draws the eye is the variation: a pale patch beside a richer pink, then a white glint picking out the edge of a facet.
