Rose Quartz Window — A Glimpse of Rosy Light
The Rose Quartz Window keychain has a gentle palette: pale pink crossed by cloudy white patches and fine, pale lines. Its broad face and irregular oval outline soften into curved edges. Light rests softly on the pink surface, while the silver-coloured ring answers with a sharper flash.
Rose quartz beads dating to around 7000 BCE have been recorded from ancient Mesopotamia. That glimpse of the stone’s past adds a sense of continuity to a very everyday accessory.
There is something lantern-like about the contrast between its soft pink and bright silver-coloured details. In a world of drifting lanterns, this could be a little window onto rosy light, its cloudy patches suggesting wisps passing across the view.
