A little tower of soft pink
The rose quartz obelisk brings a soft, pale pink to its crisp tower shape. Cloudy whitish patches and lighter streaks spread across the flat faces, with fine pale lines crossing among them. Light passes through in places and catches brightly on the facets, setting the straight sides and pointed top against the stone’s softer, hazier colour.
Rose quartz beads from ancient Mesopotamia date to around 7000 BCE—a glimpse of this stone’s long history in human hands. Here, the pink takes a different form, rising into an elongated tower with triangular faces at its peak. It could be a tiny spire beneath a pale morning sky, with wisps of white caught in the pink and a bright edge leading all the way to the tip.
