Rhodonite XXL

Rhodonite XXL: Pink, Shadow and Shine

Pink and reddish areas mingle with irregular black patches across Rhodonite XXL, while smaller touches of peach and tan soften the contrast. The colour is mottled in places, streaked in others, giving the eye several paths to follow. Bright white reflections catch on the smooth, glossy surfaces, tracing the curved, domed faces. Rounded yet irregular outlines give these pebble-like forms a character that feels lively rather than perfectly uniform.

In an imagined cavern, this palette could become rosy walls crossed by dark passages, with small peach-coloured openings glowing between them. That sense of a hidden landscape suits the shifting patterns here: broad areas of colour give way to finer interruptions, and each bright reflection changes the view. Even a small tan patch becomes its own clearing in the pink and black.
