Onyx Candlelight, a Landscape of Colour
Pale green, cream and white flow through this onyx candleholder, alternating with amber, brown and reddish-brown bands. Its short, broad shape has a thick rim framing a recessed circular centre. Across the smooth, glossy surface, bright highlights trace the curves, while wavy markings and mottled patches give the colours an unhurried rhythm.
These colours suggest a small imagined river landscape: cream shallows, pale green terraces and reddish-brown banks. Its recessed circular centre sits within a broad, gleaming rim.
