Onyx is a Greek word for Claw or nail. It is the birthstone for the month of July. It is one of the noblest stones. It is considered much liked since the earliest civilizations because of its powerful energy and charming color. It is considered a warrior stone. Onyx is often a black, but there are also brown, pink, red, and green. There are also colorless Onyx stones. Onyx can open the chakras and allow the better flow of positive energies.
