Moonstone – XS

Moonstone, Softly Clouded

Milky white and pale grey give Moonstone – XS a soft, clouded character, with occasional cream-tinted patches bringing a little warmth to the palette. Pale streaks thread through the mottling, while bright highlights catch on the smooth-looking surfaces. A gentle sheen lends these pebble-like forms a luminous touch without losing the subtle variations within their colour.

Rounded edges soften the irregular outlines, from oval to loosely triangular and roughly rectangular. There is charm in that lack of perfect symmetry: the cloudy patches and pale streaks offer different paths for the eye to follow. In an imagined constellation cove, these shapes could become small moonlit shores, their uneven contours tracing the coastline and a bright glint marking a star above the water.
