Lepidolite’s Little Garden of Colour
Pink and muted purple weave through this lepidolite chip bracelet, interrupted by irregular patches of white, cream, grey and brown. The pieces vary in length and width, gathering into a closed oval with an uneven outline. Rounded edges and smooth-looking, glossy surfaces soften the irregular chip shapes, while their mottled patterns give the eye plenty of small details to explore.
Soft, bright highlights catch on the surfaces, bringing touches of light to the mixed colours. The bracelet’s character lies in this contrast: a gentle palette carried by varied, irregular shapes. In an imagined garden, those pinks and purples might become blossoms above brown earth, with white and cream unfolding into pale paths that curve beneath an arch.
