Labradorite, a Garden of Bright Terraces
Vivid blue and turquoise light up the broad faces of raw labradorite, with yellow-gold areas and smaller touches of green, orange and purple. Dark grey and brown give these reflective colours a deep backdrop, while rough sides and uneven edges keep the stone’s character rugged.
Across the broad faces, thin dark lines intersect, bringing a fine, irregular geometry to the brighter patches.
There is a little garden to dream into this pattern: blue pools, golden terraces and green foliage, held within an angular outline. In that imagined landscape, the dark lines become narrow paths, crossing from one bright terrace to another.
