Kyanite, a Little World of Blue
Pale to medium blue gives this kyanite pendant a gentle, varied palette, crossed by whitish-grey streaks and interrupted by tan patches and scattered dark brown marks. Its elongated oblong outline ends in rounded curves, while bright white highlights reflect from the smooth, glossy surface. Fine lengthwise streaks draw the eye along the piece, weaving through areas where the colours become more mottled.
These colours might suggest a glimpse of sky through an imagined botanical canopy, with the warmer patches standing in for branches and shadow.
