Glass Opal Heart, a Blue Daydream
The Glass Opal Heart pendant holds a pale blue centre within milky-white edges, its rounded lobes meeting in a softly rounded point. Bright white and pale pink highlights cross the glossy-looking face, giving the heart a gentle play of light.
The glass opal is a human-made material with visual character of its own. Scattered tiny pale dots and faint darker lines offer details to notice across its smooth-looking surface, while silver-coloured attachment loops sit visibly at the heart’s notch.
The colours invite a little daydream: a canopy of pale blue leaves and white flowers, touched here and there with pink. In that imagined world, the heart becomes a bright opening among the branches.
