Tiger Eye, Gold in Motion
Golden-yellow and warm brown sweep diagonally across this Tiger eye sphere, with near-black bands giving the brighter colours a rich contrast. Broad pale reflections cross its smooth, glossy curve, while a gold-coloured sheen catches the eye. Look more closely and fine, closely spaced lines appear within the bands, adding a delicate grain to the bold pattern.
The rounded shape and alternating colours invite a small imagined scene: a cove at dusk, its dark water bordered by golden shores. Within that miniature world, the fine lines become tiny currents, threading through the wider sweep of brown and gold.
