✨ What makes Sodalite special?
- Its framework contains microscopic cages: linked Silicon–Oxygen and Aluminium–Oxygen tetrahedra form cavities that host Sodium, Chloride and colour-producing sulfur species.
- Its blue is structural chemistry at work: sulfur-related colour centres within those cages commonly create the mineral’s indigo, royal-blue and violet-blue shades.
- Its white pathways record a mixed geology: pale veins and patches often belong to Calcite or associated minerals that entered fractures or grew beside the blue Sodalite.
