Goldstone – Palmstone

Goldstone’s Warm Scatter of Light

Goldstone is a human-made material, and this palmstone pairs its warm reddish-brown colour with a dense scattering of fine, gold-coloured speckles. Bright white reflections shine across the smooth, glossy surface, distinct from the many smaller sparkling points. A flattened oval outline, rounded edges and a gently domed face give all that lively detail a soft, flowing shape.

There is something meadow-like in the contrast: a broad field of earthy colour dotted with tiny lights, as though an imagined landscape had gathered its brightness into golden seeds. The speckles are fine enough to keep the brown visible between them, so the eye can wander from the warm background to individual sparks—a little constellation within an oval.
