Blue broken by little islands of white
Deep blue makes this raw Sodalite striking, while bold whitish patches give the colour a lively contrast. Lighter veins and darker markings add detail across the finely textured surface. Its irregular outline keeps the piece rugged, letting the patterns wander across uneven faces rather than a smooth curve.
The white areas might suggest little islands within an imagined blue sea, each one changing the balance of the surrounding colour. Enjoy it for that pattern as much as for the blue itself. Sodalite brings an expressive meeting of strong colour, pale interruptions and a raw texture with its own quiet charm.
