Sodalite Pendant, a Little Blue Cove
Deep blue gathers in this sodalite pendant, crossed by irregular white, pale grey and cream-coloured lines. Some branch through the mottled surface; others widen into patches among scattered dark specks. The rounded drop shape narrows at the top, giving the pattern a gently widening canvas.
There is a little night-cove feeling to it, as though pale paths trace a shore across dark water. Its glossy surface brings a brighter note to that imagined scene, with white reflections catching the lower curve like light at the water’s edge.
