Sodalite’s Little Blue Worlds
Deep blue and lighter cloudy patches mingle across the rounded fronts of these sodalite earrings. Their smooth, glossy surfaces catch bright reflections, drawing the eye from pale markings into darker blue areas. Each circular outline holds a small patchwork of colour, with soft contrasts that keep the blue from feeling uniform.
The cloudy markings invite a small imagined world: a canopy of blue leaves with glimpses of pale sky between them. Across the glossy curves, bright highlights become little openings in that canopy, distinct from the softer, cloudlike patches beneath.
