Snowflake Obsidian: A Heart Lit with Pale Stars
White and pale grey markings gather across the black face of this snowflake obsidian heart, some rounded, others drifting into irregular clusters. Rounded lobes and curved edges soften the outline, while the smooth, glossy surface carries broad arcs of reflected light across its curved face.
The contrasts suggest an imagined luminous cavern, with pale clusters glowing against dark walls. Across the heart’s curve, the bright reflection becomes a shining threshold—a sweep of light beneath a scattered sky of white and grey.
