Shungite’s Dark, Glimmering Rhythm
The Shungite Chips Bracelet gathers black and charcoal grey into an oval loop of irregular little forms. Some chips have angular outlines; others look rounder, giving the bracelet a rhythm that is varied rather than uniform. Bright white and pale grey reflections stand out against the dark surfaces, tracing small flashes across their mostly smooth, glossy faces.
Look closer and the gloss gives way here and there to small pits and uneven patches. These details keep the dark palette from feeling flat, bringing texture to the contrast between shadow and shine. It is easy to picture an imagined canopy at night, with pale gleams caught between dark leaves—a little world suggested by the bracelet’s uneven silhouettes and glimmering surfaces.
