Soft Pink, Shining Curves
Pale pink and cloudy white meet in this braided rose quartz ring, where curved, gold-coloured strands cross an irregular centre. Its roughly rectangular outline keeps angular edges in view, while small loops and coils bring a curling rhythm to the sides.
Fine lines and uneven surfaces give the partly translucent pink centre a different character from the smooth, shiny strands around it. Rose quartz has a long history of adornment: beads from ancient Mesopotamia date to around 7000 BCE.
In an imagined dusk, drifting lanterns could echo this gentle palette—pale pink beneath little flashes of golden light.
