Rose Quartz, Soft Blush and Bright Edges
Pale pink drifts through cloudy whitish areas in this rose quartz, while bright highlights catch its uneven end faces. The roughly cylindrical outline has rounded end profiles without losing its irregular edges. Fine, line-like markings trace the curved sides, offering a delicate contrast to the roughness at the ends.
Rose quartz beads from ancient Mesopotamia date to around 7000 BCE—a glimpse of this crystal family far back in human history. That connection lends another layer of interest to the gentle pink and uneven contours seen here.
In an imagined meadow, those cloudy whites might become low mist beneath a blush-coloured sky. Yet the most engaging detail is smaller: where a bright glint meets a partially translucent patch, the pink seems to open from within.
