Small terraces of metallic light
Silver-grey gives this raw pyrite its striking character, with pale gold-coloured highlights scattered among darker recesses. Across its rough, uneven surfaces, densely packed angular features meet tiny flat faces. Some gleam brightly while others sit in shade, creating a lively contrast between the irregular outlines and all the small details within them.
There is something inviting about looking closer: what first seems rugged becomes a collection of little planes, edges and glints. In an imagined garden, these could be miniature terraces, their silver-grey paths rising above shadowed hollows. The beauty here is not a smooth or uniform finish, but that intricate meeting of brightness and roughness—a pale golden glint caught at the edge of a dark recess.
