Picture jasper pendant – Donut 30mm

A Little Landscape in Picture Jasper

Fine brown speckles and dark grey-to-black branching lines cross the cream, beige, ochre-yellow and brown of this picture jasper pendant. Some markings wander in streaks; others gather into irregular patches. Bright highlights catch the smooth-looking, glossy face and rounded outer edges, tracing the broad donut shape around its circular opening.

The colours invite an imagined meadow seen from above: pale paths crossing golden ground, with dark hedgerows reaching between them. There is no single scene to settle on, only little suggestions within the pattern. The pendant’s rounded outline contrasts with all those wandering marks—a simple circle holding an unruly miniature landscape, its open centre like a small window through the field.
