A Little Garden in Onyx
This onyx sphere draws pale green, cream and white into a warm sweep of orange, amber and reddish brown. Closely spaced bands ripple across its rounded surface, with fine pale lines crossing some of them. Bright white reflections catch on the glossy curve, bringing a crisp flash to the softer colours.
The colours suggest a terraced botanical garden, with pale green beds, cream paths and amber steps winding between them. In that imagined garden, one fine pale line becomes a narrow path disappearing around the curve.
