Onyx Leaf, a Little Vessel of Light
The Onyx plate – Leaf pairs pale green with creamy white, its cloudy patches interrupted by warmer orange and brown markings. Light catches the smooth, glossy surfaces in bright white flashes. Curved sides and small edge notches give the leaf outline a lively shape, finished with a short, stem-like projection.
These pale colours suggest a little garden of drifting lanterns, with warm light slipping through green mist. The shallow centre becomes an imagined pool of brightness, held within the leaf’s gently raised edge.
