Nephrite’s Meadow of Greens
Pale yellow-green, olive and deep green give these nephrite pocket stones a varied, inviting palette. Dark specks and mottled patches interrupt the colour, while lighter streaks add delicate contrasts. The surfaces look smooth and glossy, catching bright white reflections. There is plenty to explore in the small differences between one pebble-like outline and another.
Rounded ovals mingle with irregular triangular and roughly square forms, each with a slightly different silhouette. In an imagined meadow, their colours might become layers of pale grass, olive slopes and deep green hollows.
