Labradorite, Bright Against the Dark

Bright blue, turquoise and green bring a luminous contrast to this Labradorite obelisk’s dark grey and brown areas. Across the glossy faces, irregular mottling and fine, intersecting dark lines give the colour a richly patterned setting rather than an even sweep.

Pale grey and gold-coloured patches add softer notes here, alongside the vivid sheen and crisp white highlights.

Straight-sided faces rise through angular shoulders to a pointed top, giving the obelisk a clear, sculptural outline. It suggests a tiny lantern tower in an imagined twilight landscape, with blue-green light caught within its dark walls and a fine tracery of lines crossing the glow.
