Jasper’s Rust-Red Islands
This jasper catches the eye with brick-red colour and rusty orange, deepening here and there into reddish brown. Dark markings scatter across the surfaces, while occasional pale streaks break through the warmer shades. Bright white reflections stand out against the mostly smooth, glossy finish, bringing crisp points of light to the rich, earthy palette.
Softened edges lend the pieces a pebble-like character, though their outlines vary: some rounded and triangular, others oblong or roughly rectangular. Speckles, lines and patches offer small details to explore. In an imagined archipelago, these warm shapes might become islands mirrored in still water, their dark marks tracing unfamiliar coastlines and their pale streaks shining like narrow channels.
