Howlite’s Pale Paths and Little Glimmers
This howlite bracelet brings white round beads into a softly lit circle. Irregular grey veins thread across their smooth surfaces, gathering into mottled patches in places. The markings break up the white without hiding it, giving the loop a gently varied, almost drawn quality.
Howlite is named after Henry How, the chemist and mineralogist who first described the mineral. The name offers a small thread of human history within this white-and-grey pattern.
Its grey tracery might suggest paths through a tiny walled garden, curving away between pale stones. Small silver-coloured rings catch brighter reflections among the beads, while a gold-coloured square-faced accent interrupts the rounded forms. Its dark motif could be the sign on that imagined garden gate.
