Hematite’s Silver-Lit Curve
This hematite ring moves between silver-coloured brightness and deep grey, with white highlights tracing its rounded edges. Strong reflections sweep across the broad outer face, giving the plain band a lively presence. Look closer, and fine speckling offers a subtle contrast to the glossy surface.
The sweep of brightness suggests a river rounding a bend, bright along its edge and dark through the centre. In this small imagined landscape, a white gleam becomes a current following the band’s curve.
