A Dolphin Tail in Soft Blue Light

Pale blue and milky white mingle in the Dolphin Tail glass opal pendant, with clearer-looking areas along its edges. Made from human-made glass, it has a smooth, glossy surface with bright white highlights. Its translucent appearance gives the colour a lightness, while the two spreading lobes make a distinctive little silhouette: curved along the outside, gently scalloped below.

The narrow, rounded upper section leads into the widening tail, then out toward its tapering tips. In a small imagined cove, these colours could become milky-blue water beneath a scattering of stars, with a dolphin disappearing into the glow. The pendant’s outline holds just that last glimpse: not the whole creature, but the sweep of its tail above a luminous sea.
