Flint’s Little Sky of Light

Pale flecks scatter across the brownish-grey face of this flint pendant, with faint lighter markings adding a second, softer pattern. Its glossy surface catches bright white reflections, so the colour shares the view with light. The elongated, rounded rectangular shape has gently curved sides: a simple outline that gives those small details room to be noticed.

At the top, the silver-coloured loop catches its own bright reflection, a small luminous accent above the darker body. In an imagined night cove, the pale speckles could become scattered stars and the faint markings a distant shoreline. There is something inviting about that contrast between an understated shape and a surface full of tiny variations—a little brown-grey sky with a white glint at its edge.
