Epidote – XXS

Epidote’s Little Landscape of Green

Olive-green and yellow-green mingle across this epidote, with darker mottling and occasional pale cream patches adding contrast. The surfaces look mostly smooth and glossy, though small pits and fine lines give some areas a more intricate character. Bright highlights catch the curves.

The outlines range from rounded and oval to elongated and irregularly triangular, generally with softened corners. Their shifting greens suggest an imaginary garden framed by an arch: olive leaves, yellow-green shoots and little cream-coloured openings between them. Each marking offers another way into that miniature landscape, where a pale patch might become a glimpse of sky through a canopy of green.
