A Little Landscape in Deep Blue
Deep navy blue gives the Crystal Pouch for First Chakra a rich backdrop for a varied palette. Its finely fuzzy, velvety-looking surface gathers into folds, with lighter blue highlights following their contours. The loose, pebble-like pieces offer a glossy contrast: orange-red, amber-brown and dark grey, alongside golden-brown marked by dark bands and black crossed by pale streaks.
Deep teal with reddish-brown speckling rewards a closer look, while bright white reflections punctuate the smooth-looking surfaces. There is something pleasantly varied about the bands, streaks and fine speckles: each offers a different path for the eye to follow. In an imagined river at dusk, these colours could become warm stones and dark water, with a final glimmer caught on a golden-brown band.
