Little islands of light

The Crystal Geode pair offers two open pieces with pale, textured hollows. White and soft grey meet beige and rusty-brown edges, with rough, irregular contours surrounding the cavities. Closely clustered angular points catch bright flecks of light. Deeper shadows give those little flashes a striking contrast, drawing the eye from the earthy edge towards the sparkling interior.

The hollow suggests an imagined archipelago: tiny reflecting islands enclosed by a rugged shore, with shadow winding between them. That miniature landscape has its own intricate rhythm, shaped by closely gathered points rather than a smooth surface. Its charm lies in the contrast between the earthy outer border and the many small glints held within that uneven oval.
