Chiastolite: Warm Colour, Crossing Paths
Pinkish-brown and tan areas bring a soft warmth to Chiastolite, while dark grey to black bands give its curved faces a bolder rhythm. Prominent cross-like patterns stand out against the lighter colour, held within gently rounded outlines. Bright whitish highlights catch across the shiny-looking surfaces, where fine speckling and small uneven patches add a quieter layer of detail.
The pebble-like shapes vary from rounded triangular to roughly squarish, lending them an easy, irregular character rather than strict symmetry. In an imagined garden, the dark bands might become intersecting paths beneath a curved arch. What draws the eye back is the contrast itself: pale warmth around a dark crossing, with a small flash of light along the curve.
