A Pebble in Cream and Blue
The Chalcedony pendant – Pebble has a softly uneven outline, narrowing near the top and opening into a broad curve below. Milky cream and pale yellow meet across its glossy face, with a light grey-blue area near the top. Cloudy colour variations and fine pale lines invite a closer look, while bright white reflections add a crisp contrast to the gentle palette.
There is a pleasing looseness to this pebble-like shape: rounded, but not a perfect oval. In a small imagined world, its colours could become a sheltered cove, with a creamy shore curving around a cool blue inlet. The pale lines would be delicate paths across that shore, all held within the pendant’s broad, uneven lower curve.
