Black Onyx: A Little Landscape of Light
Black onyx draws the eye with deep black and charcoal-grey surfaces, brightened by broad, grey-white reflections. Its pebble-like forms range from rounded triangles to ovals and softened rectangles. Small pale and tan patches interrupt the darker colour, while fine marks and speckles give the glossy surfaces their own subtle variations. This is an approximately 35g pack of small stones; the stone count, shapes and sizes vary.
These dark, softened outlines suggest a tiny moonlit shoreline. Glossy highlights become little islands of light, and an occasional tan patch looks like a glimpse of sand among the black.
