Aquamarine – XXS

Aquamarine’s Soft Blue Gleam

Pale blue and blue-green give this Aquamarine a gentle, watery palette, with nearly colourless areas, occasional yellowish patches and touches of deeper blue. Bright white highlights catch on the smooth-looking, glossy surfaces; clearer sections sit alongside cloudy patches and fine visible lines. Rounded edges soften the oval, elongated, triangular and roughly rectangular outlines.

These colours and contours suggest a small imagined seascape: pale blue shallows, greenish pools and a few deeper notes of blue. The contrast between cloudiness and near-transparency gives the view its character, especially where a sharp white gleam meets a hazier patch.
