A Little World of Apatite Blue

Pale turquoise-blue and deep teal meet in this apatite bracelet, moving from light, airy shades to richer colour around its roughly oval loop. The smooth, round beads show cloudy patches and darker fine markings, so the blue is full of small variations rather than one even tone.

Bright reflections skim the bead surfaces and pick out the small silver-coloured details. A gold-coloured cube brings a different rhythm to the rounded shapes: a neat, angular accent amid all those curves.

The palette suggests an imagined scattering of islands reflected in blue water. Within that little world, the pale mottling could be shallows and the darker traces tiny coastlines, each glimpse bounded by a bead’s smooth curve.
